OceanX.org, a non-profit production company founded by Ray and Mark Dalio to explore the beauty beneath the water's surface. While there, I built and launched the company's YouTube channel. I also assisted with production needs such as cutting and creating social media clips, editing videos for short-form content, shaping the social media strategy, building social media outreach and partnerships, and organizing and logging deep-sea footage.
PD stories with Tom Morris Jr. was a video podcast created to thoughtfully discuss and explore the relationship between the community and the police.
For season 2 of this A&E Podcast, I developed & researched episodes, booked & pre-interviewed current and former law enforcement as well as civilians. I worked with production to set up in-person recording studios, capture video, and edit the video/audio episodes in post. Part2 Pictures, the documentary television production company behind several series, such as Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi (Hulu), Chasing Life with Sanja Gupta (CNN), and This is Life with Lisa Ling (CNN), is where I cut my teeth in the world of TV production. While staffed there, I assisted the Director and Founder, coordinating pitch meetings with networks and agents, managing the company internship program, researching new projects for development, and helping manage finances.
Project Foodie, an interactive home cooking program, where I worked closely with the creator and chef to write scripts and recipes, script supervise while on set, set up and manage the camera and recording, and give notes and direction for cuts in post to the editor.
The Face of Kinship Care, (Director, Editor, Tour Manager) is a feature-length documentary on the lives and struggles of three caregivers in NYS for the Child Welfare League of America (CWLA). First public screening was at the CWLA National Conference in Washington D.C., March ‘17.
A Life in Memory (Director, Editor), my Senior Thesis documentary with Wesleyan University, followed the story of two sisters who return to their family home and discover buried memories of their father's tragic past. The short documentary received High Honors and was awarded the Grant-Wilcox Award for Excellence.
